Come and take refuge in the quiet of the forest and enjoy the comfort of Casa Juçara. Ideal for disconnecting from routine (and screens), connecting with nature and with yourself. The glazed house, full of charm, beautifully decorated and surrounded by the forest, will make you feel immersed in nature, without leaving home. With the beaches of Matadeiro, Açores, Lagoinha do Leste, many trails, dunes, waterfalls and the famous cuisine of Pântano do Sul less than 5 km away, your vacation here will be unforgettable.
Our refuge house is perfect for couples and families with up to two children. It was built by our hands, one board at a time. With reforested and demolition wood, our ecological house has biodigesters and is supplied with pure, additive-free water from the nearby waterfall.
The house:
- Master bedroom, on the mezzanine, with queen bed with high quality mattress, single sofa bed and additional single mattress.
- Integrated dining room and kitchen, complete with 4-burner stove, gas oven, fridge, Italian espresso coffee maker, microwave, sandwich maker, mixer and electric kettle. There is a clay filter with triple action candles for those who want to drink pure water.
- Living room with comfortable double sofa bed (futon), optional screen to separate the room and large windows with curtains.
- Bathroom equipped with a balanced mix of old and new, with vintage countertops, modern ceramics and a high-standard electric shower.
- Balcony with German corner and hammock, all overlooking the stream and the soundtrack of running water and the forest.
The house is fully air-conditioned with powerful hot and cold air conditioning.
It is located in the middle of the forest, with no other houses in the vicinity. Even so, we have strategic curtains in the sleeping areas, which further enhance guests' privacy.
